How do I get the best prose out of Proselon?

The quality of what Proselon writes is mostly in your hands, and not in the way that phrase usually means. The lever is rarely a cleverer prompt. What moves the writing is how much of your book, and how much of your own prose, the co-writer can read before it drafts a line.

Give it the whole book to read

A chat window sees only the paragraph you paste into it. Proselon's co-writer reads the actual files of your book, the plot and its themes, the characters and their world, the notes you keep on how the prose should sound, and consults them before drafting a scene. The fuller those pages are, the less the model has to invent, and the more the draft belongs to your story rather than to the model's idea of a competent one. Time spent describing a character's history or a place's texture is repaid in every scene either one appears in.

Feed it your own prose

The strongest single influence on how a draft sounds is a store of writing that already sounds like your book, kept in the book's Style folder and drawn from your own pages. Read what the co-writer drafts, tell it in plain words what is wrong, and rework a scene until it sounds like you rather than like a chatbot. Once the opening is right the co-writer has a living example to match, and the drift that afflicts long AI-assisted projects has far less room to set in.

Say when it is wrong

You do not correct the co-writer by editing around it in silence. Tell it when a passage rings false, and give it the version you would have written. It records the fault and watches for the same tic elsewhere in the book. Ask it to redraft a scene that reads as generic, and it will write again against everything it knows of your voice.
