Proselon is out, and it is a real downloadable app for macOS rather than a waiting list. The download is free, and so are your first 30 days inside it; after that the price is $6 a month or $50 a year, and we email you before your first charges.

Here is what you find when you open it.

• A clean writing room. An editor that shows the book the way readers will see it, with headings, bold, lists and tables, much as a word processor does. Light and dark palettes, and your book’s structure always a glance away in the side tree.
• An AI co-writer, built in. It works alongside you inside your book, drafting scenes when you ask, holding continuity, and remembering what the story bible says. It runs on your own Claude, ChatGPT or Grok account, signed in the way you always sign in, or on free local models you run yourself through Ollama or LM Studio. No API keys, no metered usage from us, and no per-word charges.
• Your whole story in one place. Manuscripts, Plot, Worldbuilding, Style, Research and Publishing. A structured story bible the co-writer reads in full and keeps consistent, with templates ready to be filled in.
• Versions, automatically. Proselon saves versions as you work, without asking and without interrupting. Name the ones that matter, look back at any old draft, and restore a single page or the whole book.
• Press Export, get a book. Word formatted for Vellum, EPUB, self-contained HTML, or plain text. Pick whole chapters or single scenes, tick your front and back matter on or off, and the file lands in your Downloads.

Your books are plain files in Documents › Proselon — there is no cloud to be locked into, and your manuscript stays on your own Mac. Create your Proselon account, sign into the AI of your choice, and you are writing.
