Proselon is out. It’s a real, downloadable app for macOS. The download is free, and so are your first 30 days in the app; after that it’s $6 a month or $50 a year, and we always email you before we charge you.

Here’s what you get when you open it:

• A clean writing room. An editor that shows the book the way readers will see it — headings, bold, lists, and tables, just like a word processor. Light and dark palettes, and your book’s structure always a glance away in the side tree.
• An AI co-writer, built in. A co-writer works alongside you inside your book — drafting scenes when you ask, keeping continuity, and remembering your story bible. It works with your own Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok account — you sign in the way you always do — or with free local models you run yourself through Ollama or LM Studio. No API keys or metered usage from us, and no per-word charges.
• Your whole story in one place. Manuscripts, Plot, Worldbuilding, Style, Research, Publishing — a structured story bible your co-writer actually reads and keeps consistent, with fill-in templates ready to use.
• Versions, automatically. Proselon quietly saves versions as you work. Name the ones that matter, look back at any old draft, and bring back a page or the whole book.
• Press Export, get a book. Word formatted for Vellum, EPUB, self-contained HTML, or plain text — pick chapters or single scenes, include your front and back matter with checkboxes, and it lands in your Downloads.

Your books are plain files in Documents › Proselon — no cloud lock-in, and your manuscript stays on your own Mac. Create your Proselon account, sign into the AI of your choice, and you’re writing.
